Take Part in the Fall Break Widows Ministry Trip!

RUF Covenant will have a fall break mercy ministry to widows right here in Chattanooga
What: We will serve the widows of Chattanooga through the ministry of Widow's Harvest, repairing homes, getting to know the widows and showing the love of Christ in a practical way.  (You don't need to have building skills to take part in this trip!  If you have building skills all the better.)

When:  Fall Break.  Starting the evening of Friday, October 14th and ending on Wednesday, October 19th around lunch time. 

Where: We'll serve the widows of Chattanooga.  Who knows, maybe we'll be able to continue seeing and serving these widows after the break is over?!  We will be staying at St. Elmo Avenue Baptist Church.  This will be a real missions trip which means we live and work together!  As a team we'll make our own breakfasts and lunches.  In the evening we'll have our dinner catered. 

Learning about mercy:  We'll learn by on the job training and by interaction with Widows Harvest staff, Andy Mendonza and Dick Mason.

Fellowship:  This will be a great opportunity to enjoy hanging out and getting to know each other too!

Cost:  Only $75 for the whole 5 days.  If you register and pay by October 7th it only cost $50! 

How to register:  You can download and print this registration form.  Turn it in to Ron Brown at the RUF office (near the mail room by the Coke machines) with 50 dollars by October 7th (or $75 thereafter).  There will also be a registration table in the Great Hall at lunch on October 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th.  Registration ends on Tuesday, October 11th at the RUF large group meeting.
